About the Project
Website Design & Ongoing Photography
Harmony Hill Primary School is a place built on care, community and high standards — and this project was about making sure their digital presence reflected that.
The brief was simple but important: create a website that feels warm and welcoming to new families, while remaining clear, accessible and practical for parents, staff and the wider school community. The result is a modern, easy-to-navigate site that puts pupils first and makes key information easy to find.
Alongside the website, Sonshine Media has also photographed many of Harmony Hill’s major school events over the years — from everyday school life to milestone moments — helping build a consistent and authentic visual record of the school community.
The Approach
This wasn’t about over-designing or chasing trends. The focus was on:
-
Clear structure and simple navigation for busy parents
-
Strong visual storytelling using real pupils and real moments
-
A tone that reflects the school’s values: care, growth and belonging
-
A site that works just as well on mobile as it does on desktop
The homepage centres around the idea of pupils flourishing — academically, socially and emotionally — supported by natural photography and calm, confident design.
Testimonial
“Working with Sonshine Media was an easy and collaborative process from start to finish. Simon understood our school immediately — not just what we needed from a website, but who we are as a community. The final site is warm, welcoming and practical, and the photography captures the spirit of Harmony Hill perfectly. We’re delighted with the result.”

What We Said
“This project meant a great deal to me personally. Both of my children attended Harmony Hill, so I knew the school well — its values, its staff, and the sense of community that makes it special. That experience shaped every design decision. I wasn’t approaching it as an outsider, but as a parent who genuinely understands the school and what matters to families choosing it.”
